Green PracticesTerry Whyte recycles jewelry by refining old metals into .9995 gold and, combined with other pure metals, to make environmentally friendly "green" alloys. Our main yellow golds are 14, 18, and 22 karat and are very yellow. Our white golds are 14 and 18 karat. Terry's custom white alloys are rich in palladium, which gives them great color, and they do not require rhodium plating. Most white golds you see in the marketplace require rhodium plating 1-2 times yearly to cover the yellowish cast showing through on the piece. You can save yourself $60 or more yearly in plating costs by using his alloy in your jewelry creations. Some of our more unique creations are in 14 and 18 karat rose gold. The color can range from silvery, peachy or red rose. We fabricate in platinum using platinum-iridium alloys. All gold alloys meet or exceed federal and international requirements for gold content. Your old gold jewelry can be recycled to trade for repair work, showcase purchases, or a beautiful Golden Artistry original jewelry creation for you. |
